TechX Town Virtual Reality

All activities for live TechX immersive and follow-on mission-focused events revolve around curated "Missions." These Missions are always on in TechX Town, including the following:

• Civil Unrest
• Search & Rescue + Wildfire
• Structural Collapse
• Border Operations 
• Attack on a Pandemic-Ravaged Medical Facility

Each Mission is developed by the TechX public safety team and are enacted by real first responders in a live environment and virtually in TechX Town to show the latest in response techniques and protocols. Active technology is applied in TechX Town such those listed below:

• Mixed Reality & AI
• Drones and Robots
• Situational Awareness
• Common Operating Systems
• Handheld and Body Devices
• Remote Networks

As the center of all activity in all TechX experiences, the TechXchange is the arena from which all Missions commence, whether in the associated base camps in our live environments or the multi-block city square in our TechX Town VR environment. 

Here, the public safety community learns about their Missions, and professional trainers instruct them on emergency protocols and best practices for preparing for, dealing with and resolving crisis situations.

Technology companies will engage with the public safety community in the TechXchange to provide more in-depth information about their equipment via trainings or meetings.

Attendees will interact with the technologies they will be using and experiencing in live and VR scenarios in the Sandbox.

The TechXSandbox is where all scenarios are enacted, whether live or virtual. 

Public safety and active responder teams will use participating tech companies' technologies and enact the scenarios during live and virtual training events in the Sandbox.

Attendees will be part of the Missions in an immersive observatory role in their initial interactions with them and then be trained on the tactical, technical, and technological aspects of the Mission in order to carry out the scenario themselves.

Conducted by public safety training experts and our technology providers, TechX training provides certified and/or accredited classes and sessions focused on each mission, detailing how to be ready, respond, recover, and rebuild with innovative technology and protocols. Classes will revolve around, but not be limited to the following topics:
